Arcane-Elemental-Natural Mastery

This is the Class Synergy for Mages

The Mage must select one of three possible Class Synergies at character creation: Arcane Mastery, Elemental Mastery, or Natural Mastery. This represents an innate talent with a particular base category of spirit powers. This innate talent grows as a Mage develops their knowledge of the spiritual arts increasing both damage output and critical hit chance with spirit powers from that base category. In addition, Mages are some of the most adept Arcane casters in the Realm of Strife, therefore if selecting Arcane mastery the Mage gains a further bonus of reduced Spirit costs for those powers.

Arcane Mastery: When using Common/Mana, Dark/Shadow or Light/Sun powers, gain +1 damage for every 5 full levels and bonus critical hit chance equal to your current Max Spirit divided by 20; also the spirit costs of these powers are reduced by 10% (minimum 1 reduction but never reducing costs below 1)
Elemental Mastery: When using Fire/Heat, Water/Frost, Earth/Land, Air/Storm powers, gain +1 damage for every 5 full levels and bonus critical hit chance equal to your current Max Spirit divided by 20
Arcane Mastery: When using Nature/Wild, Celestial/High, gain +1 damage for every 5 full levels and bonus critical hit chance equal to your current Max Spirit divided by 20
